Project 1 - Memory

For my Memory Photos at first I struggled with an idea but eventually decided to do baseball themed photos because baseball was so important to me growing up. Only four out of my five shots came out but with those four I got what I needed. I enjoy the composition of the photo of home plate, however I do wish it was more in focus and then base was more straight with the photo. Similarly, the photo with the medals could be more in focus and would definitely be more successful if I didn't put the negative in backwards. The soft focus on this image though was because I was messing around with the tilt-shift and I think if I got a little bit more practice in I could get it. My third and final print of my old baseball equipment is probably the least successful of the three, for its hard to make out everything in the photo. The direction of my project was good I believe I just think I need to work on my execution.
